You can now interact with Gemini in Portuguese in all Google applications and services, from the Chrome browser, with YouTube, Gmail and other services.
Google has been adding new features to its Gemini artificial intelligence model, allowing users to get better results when interacting with applications and services. But this week, the technology company expanded the model to include more languages, including Portuguese. This means that users can now interact with the system by adding prompts in Portuguese, facilitating productivity and creativity.
The Gemini extensions for Google’s main applications now support our language, from managing mail in Gmail to searching for videos on YouTube, among other features without leaving the AI chat window.
Users can control their privacy settings, not only in the way they want to use these AI extensions for apps and services, but also simply disable them whenever they want.
You can access the template at Gemini.google.com and start a conversation. To activate the extensions, you can click on the cog in the bottom left corner of the settings and choose that function. You’ll now have buttons to turn the extensions on and off in Google Maps, Flights, Workspace, Hotels and YouTube. But what are extensions all about? Basically, you can get real-time answers from the apps mentioned in the same chat window, without having to visit the respective platforms.
Next June, Google Vids, a video creation application with artificial intelligence, is due to be launched at Workspace Labs. Anyone can create a video with an assistant that combines production and editing, generating a storyboard from a few commands and giving you the chance to edit and choose a style, images and music.
