Speaking to the digital archive “The Ben Heath”, former English international footballer Wes Brown, winner of the Champions League on two occasions with Manchester United, admitted to having made bad investments while he was still active.
Brown, addressed for the first time the bankruptcy situation he experienced, after losing millions in debt from automobiles and real estate deals.
“I think the main issue is the money we make. When that happens, we need to have the right people on our side and I think that was something that, unfortunately, I didn’t have. Maybe I should have been more informed about the investments I made, but at the time I didn’t want to know, I just said ‘yes’ and moved on,” he said.
